The National Defence College (NDC) has launched an alumni association 3rd February 2020 in Karen, Nairobi.
Commandant NDC Lieutenant General Adan Mulata presided over the launch of the National Defence College Alumni Association Kenya Chapter, to deepen cooperation and collaboration with all allied countries.
In his opening remarks, the Commandant NDC Lieutenant General Mulata pointed out that the College was striving to positively impact on National Strategy thinking, cooperation and collaborating with the allied friendly countries in the African continent and beyond.
During the launch, Ambassador Patrick Wamoto was elected as the Chairperson of the Association.
The launch brought together Alumnis drawn from Senior Military Officers and Senior Kenyan Civil Servants.
The National Defence College is charged with the responsibility of developing and improving the intellectual capacity of Senior Military and Government Officials on broader dimensions on security issues in order to think globally and act nationally.
