The Kenya Defense Forces Athletes Match Past the dais During Athletics Kenya National Championship.
Kenya Defence Forces emerged winners of the Athletics Kenya National Athletics Championship cum Trials for Africa Athletics Championship at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani garnering a total of 61 medals. The National Police Service was second with 37 medals and the third place went to Kenya Prisons Service who got 17 medals. KDF men team led with 8 gold,14 silver and 11 bronze medals. Second place was National Police Service with 6 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals. Kenya Prisons Service 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals. In women’s events, the National Police Service took position one winning 10 gold, 8 silver and 3 bronze medals. Second was KDF with 9 gold, 8 silver,11 bronze medals. Prisons closed the top three teams with one gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze medals.
