40TH KAF ANNIVERSARY CELEBREATION - JUNE 2004

The Kenya Air Force was established on1 st June 1964 through the Armed Forces Act Cap 199. The service celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2004 and the occasion was blessed with the attendance of the C IN C, the first lady, ministers, distinguished guests and members of the public. The occasion was marked with pomp and grandeur as the airmen and women proudly displayed their tools of trade, skills and prowess to the public. There was nostalgia too as the old guard meet the new. The spectacular event culminated with the C IN C'S speech in which he acknowledged the exemplary performance of the Kenya Air Force in the last 40 years and reiterated his Government's continued support.
