The Cabinet Secretary for Defence Ambassador Raychelle Omamo witnesses the signing of performance contract between the Ministry of Defence and the Kenya Space Agency (KSA) at Ulinzi House on 26 September 2019.
The CS assured the Kenya Space Agency board members of her support and challenged them to really work hard to count the next six months of their calendar.
“I believe you shall all move with speed and show the fruits of your work by the end of this year. We are eager to see new innovations from the space to achieve our targeted goals,” said the CS.
The CS also implored the board members to discharge their duties to the best of their ability to deliver and take charge of the space sector.
The Kenya Space Agency is tasked to develop and nurture a vibrant and viable domestic space industry by enhancing coordination of space related activities among Government agencies, corporate industry and researchers.
