KDF Mounts a Guard of Honour for the 12th Parliament Opening

His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta salutes the Presidential Color at Parliament Buildings during the opening of 12th Parliament on Tuesday 12 September 2017.

The President of the Republic of Kenya and the Commander-in-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces HE Uhuru Kenyatta salutes the Presidential Color of the 9th Battalion Kenya Rifles.

The 9th Battalion Kenya Rifles of Kenya Defence Forces mounted a colourful guard of honour in honour of the Commander-in-Chief HE President Uhuru Kenyatta on the afternoon of 12th September 2017 at Parliament Buildings.  The Guard of Honour mounted by B Company led by Major Abraham Langat, deputed by Captain Fred Lokada and parade Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) Warrant Officer Class One (WOI) David Nyongesa went on smoothly with the backing of the Kenya Army Band led by Lieutenant Colonel Martin Makadia.
