The units are set to be in five sites namely Roysambu (15 acres), Kwambuzi in Nanyuki (300 acres), Nyali Barracks (10 acres), Lanet Barracks (21) and Gilgil Barracks (200 acres) constructed on a Build-Lease-and Transfer (BLT) basis.
