KENYA AIR FORCE INSPIRES FUTURE AVIATORS

On 10 September 2025, a Kenya Air Force (KAF) team conducted an aviation motivational program at Chavakali Boys School, aimed at igniting students’ interest in aviation careers.

The school principal, Mr. Edward Wachilonga, warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed gratitude for exposing learners to such invaluable opportunities.

Students were taken through presentations on piloting airframe structures, aircraft engines, electrical and instrumentation systems, non-destructive inspection, hydraulics, and flight operations.

Warrant Officer 2 John Masit delivered a session on airframe systems, while Captains Steve Lupao, Romano Masila, and Josephat Kibet guided students on the academic, personal, and professional requirements for a successful aviation career. They further emphasized discipline, responsibility, and the need to avoid drugs and substance abuse.

The program concluded with an interactive session where students explored diverse career paths in aviation. The Kenya Air Force reaffirmed its commitment to mentoring and nurturing the next generation of skilled and disciplined professionals dedicated to national service.
