INTAKE 37 OFFICERS’ REUNION

Intake 37 (2008) officers held a colourful reunion at Lang’ata Barracks, Nairobi, on 02 November 2025.

The event held under the theme “Pamoja Twapaa,” brought together officers of the intake, both serving and retired, to celebrate their shared journey, renew bonds, and strengthen the social fabric cultivated since their formative training years.

In a moving moment of remembrance, members honoured their fallen comrades through the traditional Missing Wingman Table ceremony, symbolizing respect and eternal remembrance for those who have since passed on.

During the gathering, the Chairman of the Welfare Committee, Major Harold Ndanyi, updated members on the status of the Welfare Fund and briefed them on resolutions adopted to enhance its management and sustainability

“The fund continues to serve as a vital pillar in promoting the welfare and mutual support of Intake 37 members, ” said the chairman

In recognition of the importance of financial discipline, one of the members conducted a session on financial management, focusing on prudent spending, saving culture, and long-term financial planning. The session aimed to equip members with tools to manage their personal finances effectively and avoid unnecessary financial stress.

The day’s activities culminated in a reception, where members interacted freely, sharing experiences from their various units and reflecting on their professional and personal journeys. These light moments, laughter, and shared memories underscored the unity and lasting bond among the officers.

The “Pamoja Twapaa” reunion served as a reminder that while service duties may change over time, the friendship, discipline, and camaraderie built at the beginning of their careers continue to endure.
