The Defence Forces Recruit Training School (DFRTS) today marked a significant milestone as it officially received recruits for Cohort 01/25 in an event that was presided over by Brigadier Alphonce Ndar of KDF at Eldoret in Uasin Gishu County.
While addressing the recruits, Brig Ndar wished the recruits success in their training.
“I wish you nothing but success, stay healthy, take care of yourselves, and approach your training with discipline and commitment,” he said.
The recruits will undergo, document verification, medical screening, biometric registration, issuance of kit and an initial orientation to prepare them for the foundational military training that covers discipline, physical conditioning, field craft, leadership development and core soldiering skills.
This cohort comprises General Duty recruits as well as Tradesmen and Tradeswomen.
