On Friday, 14 November 2025, the Junior and Senior Divisions of the Joint Command and Staff College (JCSC) participated in a friendly football match against the Moi Air Base Officers’ Team at the Ulinzi Sports Complex, Langata.
The event was graced by the presence of the Commandant, Joint Command and Staff College, Major General Eric Kinuthia, who was joined by Colonel Simon Buuri, Commander Helicopter Command, Colonel Alfred Olenawankas, Director Ulinzi Sports Complex Langata, Heads of Departments, Faculty, Course Participants and Officers from Moi Air Base.
In line with established tradition, the annual match forms an integral component of the JCSC sports calendar, fostering camaraderie, physical fitness, and the two institutions cohesion.
Moi Air Base emerged victorious with a final score of 2–0.
In his remarks, Major General Kinuthia commended the organizing committee, players and spectators for delivering a highly competitive and entertaining encounter marked by exemplary skill and discipline. He extended congratulations to the winning team and lauded both sides for their outstanding display of sportsmanship.
The match reaffirmed the enduring spirit of mutual respect and teamwork between the Kenya Air Force and the Joint Command and Staff College.
