Christmas came early for Mother Teresa Children’s Home in Huruma and Mama Fatuma Goodwill Children’s Home in Eastleigh, as the Moi Air Base fraternity shared Christmas goodwill with the families on 23 December 2025.
The delegation from Moi Air Base was led by Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar, who represented the Base Commander Moi Air Base.
Speaking during the visit, Lieutenant Colonel Abubakar stated that the initiative was intended to remind the families and residents that they were not alone. He also commended the caregivers and staff for the admirable work they continued to undertake in caring for the children.
“We are here today as the Moi Air Base family to offer our support to other families. It is not always about how much we give, but the love we put into what we do. We will always be here for you. Remember that we are with you, and we will continue walking this journey together. Thank you for always welcoming us into your home. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,” he said.
During the visit, the Moi Air Base team donated assorted foodstuffs, including sugar, cooking oil, flour, rice, and other essential commodities, to support the homes during the festive season.
