The Director of the Directorate of Oversight, Compliance and Accountability (DOCA), Major General Mohamed Iddi, on 5 February 2026 held a meeting with the Director of Preventive Services at the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Mr. Vincent Okong’o, at Defence Headquarters in Nairobi County.
The engagement aimed at promoting integrity and accountability, strengthening institutional governance, and enhancing public confidence through sustained cooperation between the two institutions.
During the meeting, Major General Iddi and Mr. Okong’o and their teams held discussions on strengthening preventive and investigative approaches to corruption and unethical conduct, enhancing institutional cooperation and information sharing, and building internal capacity within DOCA. The two leaders also deliberated on aligning DOCA’s oversight mandate with the broader national anti-corruption framework.
The collaboration between DOCA and the EACC is intended to reinforce governance, compliance, and transparency within the Kenya Defence Forces, while fostering public trust through strengthened accountability mechanisms.
DOCA was established in June 2025, bringing together the Provost, Audit, and Inspectorate functions under one Director. The Directorate represents the KDF’s shift from fragmented oversight structures to a centralised and strategic accountability framework.
