A construction site visit was conducted at the Defence Forces Medical Insurance Scheme (DEFMIS) Headquarters in Embakasi, Nairobi, as part of continued oversight of the ongoing infrastructure project. The visit was led by the Assistant Chief of Defence Forces in charge of Personnel and Logistics (ACDF P&L), Major General Edward Rugendo, who was the Chief Guest.
He was accompanied by the Managing Director of DEFMIS, Brigadier Hussein Amin, the Chief of Infrastructure, Brigadier Said Mwacharo, and other senior officers from the DEFMIS leadership.
Project personnel briefed the delegation on completed works, ongoing construction activities, and timelines towards project completion.
The visit provided an opportunity for senior leadership to gain first-hand appreciation of the scale and progress of the project, while reaffirming the importance of timely delivery and high construction standards.
