KDF personnel serving in the Mukutani area, in Baringo County in collaboration with Sirata Health Centre under Marigat Sub County Hospital, conducted a Civil Military Cooperation medical outreach, drawing large numbers of civilians from Ramacha, Jerusalem, and Mukutani villages.
The initiative aimed to strengthen relations with the local community while supporting efforts to combat banditry under Operation Maliza Uhalifu (OMU).
Over 100 residents including children, men, and women received essential preventive, curative, and promotive healthcare services, with common cases ranging from malaria and respiratory infections to maternal care.
The outreach proved highly successful, earning appreciation from the locals and reinforcing trust, cooperation, and the continued sharing of vital information.
