STRENGTHENING FORCE READINESS AND DISCIPLINE

The 75 Artillery Battalion conducted its Annual Administrative Inspection on 16 April 2025, underscoring its commitment to operational readiness, discipline, and institutional accountability. The exercise reaffirmed the unit’s focus on efficiency and full compliance with the established Kenya Defence Forces doctrine and administrative standards.

The inspection was presided over by the Commander Artillery Brigade, Brigadier Samuel Kimani. Upon arrival, he inspected a Quarter Guard and subsequently inspected an Administrative Parade. He thereafter received a detailed operational and administrative brief on the battalion’s current status. Across all departments, personnel were subjected to a rigorous evaluation focusing on accountability, organization, and compliance with laid-down procedures. Particular emphasis was placed on the combat readiness of artillery systems, serviceability of equipment, proper management of stores, and the overall welfare of troops, key pillars underpinning sustained operational effectiveness.

Brigadier Kimani underscored the necessity of accuracy in administrative processes and discipline in the execution of duties. He highlighted that such inspections serve not only as performance audits but also as critical platforms for reinforcing best practices and strengthening command efficiency.

The inspection serves as a benchmark for discipline and a confirmation of the battalion’s readiness to deliver on its mandate within the Kenya Defence Forces.
