Colonel Veronica Aluoch Owuor is the current Colonel in charge of Coordination and General Services at the Joint Command and Staff College (JCSC). She was enlisted in the Kenya Defence Forces on 1 August 2002 and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant on 14 November 2003. She began her career in the Kenya Air Force at Moi Air Base, Central Supply Depot as a Supply and Logistics Officer.
Col Owuor is a holder of a Master of Science in Procurement and Logistics (JKUAT), Bachelor of Purchasing and Supplies Management (JKUAT), Bachelor of Science in Military Science (Egerton University), Post Graduate Diploma in Strategic Studies (University of Nairobi) and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategy at the National Defence University – Kenya (NDU-K).
Col Owuor has served in various appointments including; Col Supply at the Defence Headquarters, Staff Officer 1 in charge of Supply at DHQ, Military Training Officer on Secondment to the United Nations in New York, Staff Officer 1 Supply KAF HQ, Commanding Officer of CSD. She has also served in the United Nations Mission in South Sudan from 2012 to 2014.
Col Owuor is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (MCIPS), as well as a Certified Peacekeeping Trainer.
