On Thursday 11 December 2025, the Commandant of the Joint Command and Staff College (JCSC), Major General Eric Kinuthia, presided over the graduation ceremony of the Junior Joint Command and Staff Course, JJCSC 102/25 at the JCSC Karen. The Commandant was accompanied by Colonel Peter Karigih, the Colonel Coordination, Colonel Benjamin Kiprop, the Head of Writing Team, Colonel Amani Kotea, the Head of Teaching Team and Lieutenant Colonel Moses Muchemi, the Head of Junior Division.
In his address, the Commandant commended the graduating officers for their exemplary discipline, dedication and focus throughout the intensive 14-week programme. He expressed confidence that the participants had acquired valuable knowledge and insights that would serve them well in both their professional duties and personal lives.
The Commandant personally presented certificates to all graduates and awarded special recognition to the outstanding performers of the course.
The JJCSC 102/25 comprised 60 officers drawn from the Kenya Army, Kenya Air Force and Kenya Navy. This foundational career course is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge, skills and understanding required for effective command and staff work at unit and formation levels.
