JOINT COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGE HOLDS COMMANDANTS ’s RUN

On Wednesday, 6 August 2025, the Joint Command and Staff College (JCSC) hosted Course 41- 2025/2026 Commandant’s Run. The event brought together the college’s leadership, faculty, staff, and students in a demonstration of physical fitness and camaraderie.

The run was officially flagged off by the Commandant, Major General E M Kinuthia, who also participated alongside Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor, Brigadier D K Chesire, and the Director of the Eastern Africa Standby Force (EASF), Brigadier (Rtd) P K Njema.

The Commandant’s Run is a core part of the JCSC’s sporting calendar. The event aims to promote physical fitness, foster teamwork, and provide students with a break from their rigorous academic schedule.

Following the race completion, the Commandant awarded prizes to the winners across various categories and encouraged all participants to maintain a high level of physical fitness in preparation for future college sporting activities.
