JUNIOR JOINT COMMAND AND STAFF COURSE 101/25  OPENING CEREMONY

The Junior Joint Command and Staff Course No. 101/25 comprising of 60 participants drawn from different Services of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) was officially opened on 12 May 2025. The ceremony was graced by Deputy Commandant (Chief Instructor) Joint Command and Staff College Brig D K Chesire accompanied by the College management team.

The Course is aimed at equipping participants with requisite knowledge and skills to enhance their performance in command and staff appointments and lay foundation to tactical knowledge in joint operations and multi-domain operational environment.

In his keynote address, the Deputy Commandant encouraged officers to remain focused and be responsive to new knowledge so that they can sharpen their skills and develop new insights. He emphasized the importance of peer learning and sharing of experiences stemming from different Arms and Services thus enhancing synergy. In his concluding remarks, the Deputy Commandant wished the course participants success and urged them to remain disciplined.
