Rt. Rev. Wallace Ng’ang’a Gachihi, Bishop of the Military Ordinariate of Kenya, conducted a pastoral visit to Isiolo Barracks. The visit underscored his commitment to providing spiritual guidance and support to military personnel and their families.
During his visit, Bishop Ng’ang’a led a spiritually enriching Padre Hour at Isiolo Barracks, engaging with soldiers to deepen their faith and foster resilience in their service. He emphasized the importance of spiritual strength in facing the challenges of military life, encouraging the troops to remain steadfast in their duties while anchored in compassion and integrity.
The bishop also visited Isiolo Regional Hospital (IRH), where he prayed for the sick, offering solace and hope to patients and healthcare workers.
Additionally, Bishop Ng’ang’a visited Isiolo Barracks Secondary and Primary Schools, interacting with students and teachers. He highlighted the importance of education and faith in nurturing future generations.
Accompanied by Comd Armoured Brigade Brig Alex Kiraguri and Chief Medical Officer IRH Brig(Dr) David Chepsiror, the visit exemplified the strong collaboration between the Military Ordinariate and KDF leadership in fostering moral and spiritual resilience.
