Commander Kenya Army Lieutenant General David Ketter paid a visit to Kenya Army troops based in Lanet region on 06 November 2025.
The visit formed a pivotal stop in his ongoing tours across the Kenya Army Formations and Units to forge personal connections with the troops who forms the nation’s ironclad shield.
In his address, Lt Gen Ketter lauded the soldiers for their commitment towards safeguarding the nation and encouraged them to uphold intergrity.
“In the face of insurgents who seek to unravel our hard-won peace, in the shadow of global winds that carry new dangers, you have held the line with a resolve that echoes our role and mandate. Each step you take, each watch you keep, uphold the legacy of those who came before you and secure the future for those who follow. You are the line that no enemy shall cross, the strength that holds our flag high.’ Let those words be your compass here at Lanet,” said Lt Gen Ketter.
During the tour he also chaired the Kenya Military Academy (KMA) School Control board and oversaw ongoing development projects within the Academy.
Present during the tour were KMA Commandant Maj Gen Joel Arimi, Deputy Commander, Kenya Air Force Brigadier Samuel Kipkorir, Deputy Commander, Kenya Navy Brigadier Sankale Kiswaa, Senior Officers and Officers.
