Commander Kenya Army Lieutenant General David Ketter visited Kenya Army troops in Isiolo region on 18 July 2025. The visit provided a forum for the Commander to engage with the soldiers and assess their mission readiness. It also served as a morale booster to the soldiers.
In his address, Lieutenant General Ketter lauded the soldiers for their commitment towards the execution and achievement of the Kenya Army mandate.
“Your courage, discipline, and sacrifice ensure the safety of our country and the sovereignty of our borders. You are the embodiment of honour, forged in the fire of duty, unyielding in the face of any threat. Each step you take, each watch you keep, upholds the legacy of those who came before you and secures the future for those who follow. You are the line that no enemy shall cross, the strength that holds our flag high,’’ said Lieutenant General David Ketter.
Lieutenant General Ketter also urged the troops to be guided by integrity in every action, stressing that honesty and honour are the foundation of trust from their comrades, leaders and the nation they serve.
