COMMANDER KENYA NAVY ENGAGES FRENCH AMBASSADOR IN BILATERAL TALKS

The Commander Kenya Navy, Major General Paul Otieno, paid an official visit on board the French Naval Ship (FNS) Le Malin, which was docked at the Port of Mombasa.

During the visit, Major General Otieno held a bilateral meeting with the French Ambassador to Kenya, His Excellency Arnaud Suquet.

The engagement focused on key areas of mutual interest including training, maritime security as well as joint exercises and operations.

The meeting aimed to further strengthen the partnership between the Kenya Navy and the French Embassy.

Also present during the engagement was the French Defence Attaché to Kenya, Lieutenant Colonel Michael Gense and the Kenya Navy Staff Officers.
