DEFENCE PS HOSTS JAPAN AMBASSADOR AT DHQ

Defence Principal Secretary Dr Patrick Mariru on Monday met Japan’s Ambassador to Kenya H.E Matsuura Hiroshi at Ulinzi House.

Dr Mariru and his guest reviewed the progress of ongoing discussions on the Kenya-Japan defence cooperation ahead of next week’s 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD).

H.E Matsuura was accompanied by Defence Attache at Japan Embassy CDR Keiko Kawashima at the meeting also attended by KDF’s Chief of Strategic Policy and Plans Brig Ronald Makori among other senior MOD and military officials.
