HULUGHO TOURNAMENT FINALE 

The KDF camp in Hulugho had the honour of hosting the thrilling final of the Hulugho Eid Tournament, where Hulugho Old Boys FC faced off against the determined side, Basic FC.

The match ended goalless in regular time, but in extra time Basic FC came alive, scoring three quick goals to secure a well-deserved victory. The match was officiated by Kenya Defence Forces referee, Corporal Victor Okumu Ouma, who ensured fair and professional conduct throughout the game.

Speaking as he handed over awards to the winning team, Major Mohammed Officer of KDF expressed appreciation for their participation and encouraged continued sportsmanship and collaboration. He also emphasized the importance of such tournaments in providing platforms for the local populace to engage and share insights with security officers on better mechanisms to enhance their livelihoods and the security situation. He rewarded the winning team, with an additional reward of 3,000 shillings to the Man of the Match, who also scored the hat trick.

On his part, the Hulugho Location Chief, Hashim Tumtish reiterated the need for enhancement of partnership between KDF and local population a call for peace through such initiatives, saying that security is a collective responsibility.
