KAF COMMANDER LAUNCHES STRATEGIC PLAN TO ELEVATE OFFICERS’ WELFARE

In a significant move to enhance the welfare of its officers, the Commander Kenya Air Force (KAF), Major General Bernard Waliaula, recently launched the Moi Air Base (MAB) Officers’ Mess Strategic Plan 2025 to 2030 at the MAB Officers Mess in Nairobi.

The plan, developed by the Mess Committee under the leadership of Colonel Benedetta Kikechi, provides a clear framework for improving infrastructure, strengthening financial sustainability, and enhancing service delivery. It supports the broader objectives of the Kenya Defence Forces by promoting professionalism, welfare, and unity among officers.

With its implementation, the Officers Mess is set to become a modern, well managed, and financially resilient facility that will serve members effectively for years to come.

Major General Waliaula also reopened the renovated games complex, toured various facilities, and paid his respects at the portrait section of former KAF commanders. He later addressed officers during the General Mess Meeting.

The occasion was attended by the Base Commander Moi Air Base, Brigadier Herbert Wafula, together with Principal Staff Officers, Senior Officers, and Officers drawn from KAF Headquarters and MAB.
