KDF CONDUCTS A SENSITIZATION PROGRAMME ON MENTAL HEALTH

The Kahawa Garrison Commander, Brigadier Mathew Lenamunai presided over the mental health awareness sensitization programme at Kahawa Garisson in Nairobi County.  The event conducted by Kahawa Garisson medics and other senior officers aimed at informing and educating Kahawa Garrison Service personnel on managing their lifestyle, managing mental challenges and seeking psychology, counselling and treatment.

Further, the sensitization programme touched on various areas which included general mental health, effects of social media on mental health and suicide and suicide prevention. This event is in line with the mental health awareness month which is commemorated annually in May.
