KDF ENHANCES RESCUE READINESS AS NEW CSAR TEAM COMPLETES 15-WEEK TRAINING

The Base Commander, Moi Air Base (MAB), Brigadier Herbert Wafula presided over the graduation of a new cohort of Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) trainees, marking the completion of a rigorous 15-week course aimed at enhancing the KDF’s operational readiness and rescue capabilities at Moi Air Base swimming pool ground.

The CSAR program is designed to prepare personnel for future deployments by strengthening their proficiency in high-risk extraction operations and deepening their understanding of modern combat search and rescue procedures.

The graduation ceremony highlighted the graduates’ resilience and mastery of critical rescue skills, underscoring the KDF’s continued commitment to developing highly capable personnel for mission-ready CSAR operations.

Also present during the graduation are Commandant Air Force Training Wing Colonel Charles Munyao, Commandant Kenya Air Force Admin Wing Lieutenant Colonel Mabel Wanyonyi ,Officers and Service Members and families of the graduands.
