KDF MUSLIMS USHER IN THE HOLY MONTH OF RAMADAN

Colonel (Imam) Rajab Athman, led the Kenya Defence Forces Muslim fraternity in ushering in this year’s Holy month of Ramadhan, at Kahawa Garrison Mosque in Nairobi.

Colonel Athman urged the Muslim faithful to read the holy book of Quran to increase their rewards and strengthen their Ramadhan noting that Ramadhan is a period of giving a helping hand to the poor in society.

Kahawa Garrison Commander, Brigadier Hussein Dida, in his remarks urged the Muslim faithful to exercise repentance and take advantage of this period to ask for forgiveness for their shortcomings during the year.

He further appreciated the KDF leadership, for wishing all Muslims Ramadhan Mubarak as they commence the Holy month of Ramadhan.
