MOI AIR BASE HOSTS ULINZI TAEKWONDO COLOUR BELT GRADING 2025

On 9 September 2025, the Acting Deputy Base Commander Moi Air Base (MAB), Colonel Symon Buuri, representing the Base Commander MAB and Chairman of the Defence Forces Taekwondo Association, Brigadier Herbert Wafula, presided over the Ulinzi Taekwondo Colour Belt Grading 2025 at the MAB Gymnasium.

The grading exercise aimed to assess the progress of trainees as they advanced through the different stages of Taekwondo. Each belt symbolises growth not only in martial skills but also in character, resilience, and leadership qualities that are vital in both martial arts and military service.

In his remarks, Colonel Buuri congratulated those who had earned higher belts and encouraged them to continue refining their skills. He noted that the event was not only a test of ability but also a celebration of discipline, progress, and commitment to both personal and collective growth.

Also present were senior officers, officers and service members drawn from the MAB community.
