KDF TROOPS INSPIRE HOPE AT LOBOKAT GIRLS’ SCHOOL THROUGH MOTIVATIONAL TALK

In a bid to inspire and empower young learners, Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) troops based at Kainuk Forward Operating Base (FOB) visited Lobokat Girls’ School for a motivational engagement with young students.

The outreach was aimed at encouraging the students to embrace education as a key to a brighter future. With most of the learners hailing from vulnerable communities grappling with persistent drought, insecurity, and poverty, the visit served as a reminder that despite the odds, education remains a powerful tool for transformation.

During the session, the soldiers emphasized the critical role of education in breaking the cycle of poverty and building resilience. They encouraged the girls to remain focused, resilient, and committed to their studies as a pathway to achieving their dreams and contributing positively to society.

Interactive sessions featured a lively Q&A segment where students engaged the personnel with questions, all of which were addressed, reinforcing trust and connection between the learners and the troops.

KDF remains committed to supporting education and youth empowerment, particularly in underserved regions. Such engagements are part of the broader civil-military cooperation efforts under Operation Maliza Uhalifu, aimed at fostering stability, peace, and development among affected communities.
