JCSC CELEBRATES SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF JJCSC-103/26

 

On Thursday 16 April 2025, the participants of Junior Joint Command and Staff Course JJCSC-103/26 graduated at the Joint Command and Staff College (JCSC), Karen. The graduation ceremony was graced by the Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor, Brigadier David Chesire, alongside the College heads of departments. During the ceremony, 60 student officers drawn from the three services of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) were awarded certificates upon successful completion of the course.

In his address, the deputy commandant congratulated the graduating officers and highlighted the course as a significant milestone in the College’s calendar. He underscored the critical role of the Junior Joint Command and Staff Course in advancing professional military education and enhancing operational effectiveness through the development of highly competent staff officers. The Deputy Commandant noted that over the duration of the course, the student officers underwent rigorous academic, professional and mental training specifically designed to equip them for higher responsibilities in command and staff appointments.

The graduating officers now join the esteemed alumni network of the Joint Command and Staff College, Karen. They are expected to serve with honour and distinction in their respective units and formations, while upholding the core values of the Kenya Defence Forces and contributing to its continued growth and operational effectiveness.
