A MILESTONE OF COMPASSION, UHSF’S COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY OUTREACH

The Ulinzi Health Services Fund (UHSF) marked its first anniversary by prioritizing community welfare over celebration by organising an outreach program at the Little Sisters of the Poor in Nairobi County.

This exercise served as a tribute to the elderly residents who call the Little Sisters of the Poor in Kasarani their home. The team donated essential food supplies and items designed to enhance the comfort and nutritional well-being of the seniors.

The visit is a vital component of a strategic initiative spearheaded by the Kenya Defence Forces. This engagement aims to bridge the gap between military organizations and the public through consistent acts of humanitarian service.

Reflecting on the journey, this anniversary carries weight. The fund, now operational for one year, has become a proactive force for good.

The beneficiary, the Little Sisters of the Poor, represents a legacy of care. Established in 1985, the organization manages homes in Nairobi and Mombasa, offering a safe haven where the elderly can age with dignity.
