The Chief of the Defence Forces (CDF), General Charles Kahariri, today hosted the Indian High Commissioner to Kenya, H.E. Dr. Adarsh Swaika, at the Defence Headquarters in Nairobi.
During their meeting, they discussed areas of mutual interest and explored avenues for deepening defence cooperation between the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) and the Indian Armed Forces. The discussions included a review of the outcomes of the recent Joint Defence Coordination Committee (JDCC) meeting, with a shared commitment to ensuring their expeditious implementation.
They also underscored the importance of sustained bilateral cooperation between Kenya and India, noting that the strong ties between the two nations continue to support economic growth and enhance security collaboration. This partnership, they observed, contributes to fostering a stable and peaceful environment necessary for national and regional development.
