COMMANDER KENYA AIR FORCE ENGAGES EGYPT DEFENCE ATTACHÉ IN BILATERAL CONSULTATIONS

On 11 November 2025, the Commander Kenya Air Force, Major General Bernard Waliaula, hosted the Egypt Defence Attaché to Kenya, Colonel Ahmed Fathy, at the Kenya Air Force Headquarters.

The meeting centred on deepening military cooperation between the two nations, with a focus on capability development through enhanced training partnerships. Key areas discussed included aviation safety, aviation medical services, aviation security, Air Defence training, special operations, engineering programmes, and career progression courses.

They both reaffirmed the importance of joint benchmarking initiatives aimed at identifying and adopting best practices that strengthen operational readiness, improve interoperability, and advance shared security objectives.
