The Commander Kenya Air Force Major General Bernard Waliaula recently visited Wajir Air Base where he was received by the Base Commander Colonel Alew Hussein.
The purpose of the visit was to meet troops ahead of the festive season, strengthen morale and commission the new Warrant Officers and Sergeants accommodation.
Major General Waliaula conducted an inspection tour of the Base, reviewed key facilities and commended the Base Commander for sustained operational excellence.
While addressing the personnel, he applauded their dedication and commitment to duty.
“Your dedication remains the backbone of our mission success and I urge all personnel to stay vigilant during this festive season,” he said.
The Commander also acknowledged ongoing developments across the Base, noting enhancements in weapon systems and orchard projects. Speaking on the new accommodation, he stated, “The new accommodation reflects our commitment to improving the welfare of our service members.”
The visit was attended by the Base Commander Moi Air Base Brigadier Herbert Wafula, principal staff officers from Kenya Air Force Headquarters, officers, the Kenya Air Force Sergeant Major and service members.
