The Defence Forces Rifle Association (DEFRA) Fullbore team delivered a stellar performance on the final day of the Laikipia Bisley Range Championship at the Kenya Defence Forces Laikipia range.
The four-day event attracted shooters from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Kenya Prisons Service (KPS), Administration Police Service, and KRRC aimed at promoting range marksmanship and precision.
Competitors vied in several classes, from Tyro (T) and Open (O) to Xpert (X) and SuperX (SX) being the highest class and overall category.
Moses Wachira of the Chalbii team claimed the overall title with a score of 534.34 out of 600. He also earned 120 V-bulls across the distances of 300, 500, 600, 800 and 900 metres.
In the SX1 category, Ssgt Brenda Ajiambo of the DEFRA team finished second with 519.24 points, ahead of CI Sanford Otundo of KPS, who posted 516.2 points.
