Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) Defence Forces Sergeant Major (DFSM), Warrant Officer Class One Omar Haji today held a meeting with fellow Warrant Officers stationed at Kenyatta Barracks, Gilgil.
The meeting is part of the DFSM’s tour of the various Units and Formations within the Defence Forces in a bid to discuss and deliberate matters leadership and administration while in the line of duty.
In his address, DFSM Haji encouraged the senior Non-Commissioned Officers to lead by example and execute their mandated tasks and responsibilities with the utmost dedication and drive as underlined in the Defence Forces Standing Orders.
He further reiterated the importance of cultivating discipline within the Forces, noting it is a pillar from which all military professionalism arises.
