In a gesture of compassion and community service, a team from the Kenya Navy Fleet (KNF), recently visited Henny’s Children’s home in Kwale County.
The outreach was part of the Kenya Navy’s Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) strategy, aimed at strengthening bonds with local communities and uplifting the lives of vulnerable groups within the region.
The visit was characterized by lively interactions as the team engaged the children in fun-filled activities and offered words of encouragement, fostering a warm sense of belonging and care.
To further support the orphanage, the team donated a variety of essential supplies, including assorted foodstuffs, sanitary items, and clothing, to help supplement the home’s daily needs and enhance the children’s well-being.
The management of Henny’s Children’s Home expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Kenya Navy leadership for their generous support, acknowledging the significance of such acts of kindness in the lives of the children.
In response, the team, led by Major Gregory Mwanzau, reaffirmed its commitment to similar humanitarian initiatives, underscoring its role in social responsibility and nation-building.
