KENYA@100 PARTICIPANTS STEP OUT FOR A FIELD STUDY AT UGNMM

The Course participants of the Kenya@100 Capstone Training embarked on a field study at the Uhuru Gardens National Monument and Museum (UGNMM) at Langata ,Nairobi County.

The participants included top leadership from across the national government, departments and agencies; who were accompanied by the Director General of UGNMM, Brigadier Opiyo Odour.

Brigadier Oduor familiarized the participants with some of the facilities at the museum which included the tunnel of martyrs and the five galleries located within the museum.

The Museum is managed by various ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) under the supervision of the Ministry of Defence. It’s a flagship project dedicated to preserving and showcasing Kenya’s history and culture.
