PRINCIPAL CHAPLAIN VISITS DEFENCE FORCES MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

The Principal Chaplain of the Kenya Defence Forces, Anglican Church Colonel Reverend Granton Mwanyanya, yesterday visited the Defence Forces Memorial Hospital in a pastoral mission aimed at uplifting the spirits of patients and troops.

During his visit, the he spent time with patients, offering words of encouragement and urged them to remain strong and courageous, reminding them that the Lord is with them in their time of need.

Col Rev Mwanyanya also held a padre hour session with troops stationed at the facility. During the session, he emphasized that forgiveness liberates individuals and fosters better working relationships within the force.

Chaplaincy plays a vital role in KDF by providing spiritual and moral support to service members and their families during both challenging and peaceful times and such engagements continue to strengthen the moral and spiritual foundation of our defence forces, contributing to unit cohesion and personal well-being.
