JOINT COMMAND AND STAFF COLLEGE HOLDS INTER SYNDICATE FOOTBALL FINALS

On Friday 31 October 2025, The Joint Command and Staff College (JCSC) hosted the grand finale of its annual football tournament for students of the Senior Joint Command and Staff Course (SJCSC) 41 – 2025/2026. The highly anticipated match, played at the College sports grounds was launched by the Commandant, Major General Eric Kinuthia. He was accompanied by the Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor, Brigadier David Chesire and the College Heads of Departments.

The final match featured Syndicate 1 against Syndicate 7, culminating in a dramatic penalty shootout in which Syndicate 1 emerged champions with a 6–5 victory.

As part of the College’s annual calendar of events, the tournament continues to serve as a platform for team building, peer bonding, and leadership development.

In addition to determining the tournament champion, the competition also facilitated the selection of a representative JCSC football team. This selected team will face Moi Air Base in a friendly match scheduled for 14 November 2025, aimed at strengthening inter-unit collaboration and sports relations.
