Steeped in military tradition, the Commandant’s Reception and Dining-In is one of the Joint Command and Staff College’s hallmark ceremonies, symbolising the formal induction of participants into a demanding journey of professional military education.
In keeping with this enduring tradition, the Joint Command and Staff College (JCSC), Karen, officially welcomed participants of the Senior Joint Command and Staff Course No. 42 – 2026/2027 during a colourful Commandant’s Reception/Dining-In held on Friday, 24 July 2026.
Addressing the gathering, the Commandant JCSC, Major General Eric Kinuthia, warmly welcomed the participants and acknowledged the unwavering support of families as a vital pillar in enabling the student officers in successfully navigating the rigorous course.
The event provided an opportunity to strengthen camaraderie among participants, faculty and families while showcasing Kenya’s warm hospitality to allied participants.
