In its ongoing efforts to support communities affected by insecurity, the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) personnel operating under Operation Maliza Uhalifu (OMU), conducted a one-day medical camp in the general area of Kainuk.
The medical outreach, spearheaded by Kainuk Forward Operating Base (FOB), offered general consultations, health check-ups, and treatment services to local residents. These interventions aimed to address prevalent health concerns in the region, especially waterborne diseases.
The humanitarian initiative underscores KDF’s commitment to improving the well-being of local communities while reinforcing the gains made in restoring peace and stability in the region.
Residents expressed appreciation for the medical services provided, which they noted were timely and impactful in the face of recurring infections and limited access to healthcare.
Operation Maliza Uhalifu continues to implement both security and civic support initiatives, helping to rebuild trust and enhance cooperation between the security forces and local communities.
